We construct an energy-based deep learning model that can be trained with QC-assisted generative training to extract latent representations from molecular graphs for property prediction. A QC-assisted optimization technique is further presented that efficiently traverses through the chemical space to identify molecules with desired properties by inverting the structure–activity relationship captured with the energy-based model.
